Job Description



Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist project management with schedule preparation, including logic and resource/budget allocation, and provide updates as required.
  • Provide training, mentoring, coaching and leadership for personnel.
  • Review and sign-off time cards.
  • Manage receiving and inventory process.
  • AWS welding, machining, shipping and material handling.
  • Progressive hand s- on experience with machine tools , welding and fitting.
  • Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, including but not limited to: GMAW, FCAW, TIG, grinders, drills, pneumatic t ools, plasma torches and oxyacetylene torches.
  • Manage project shipping of fabricated products.
  • Manage multiple projects in shop to create schedules.
  • Handle various projects and other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
  • Ability to learning NC/CNC machine code.

  • Ability to maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe and orderly workspace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years structural steel fabrication experience.
  • 2+ years of welding management experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Fabtrol.
  • Knowledge of GMAW, FCAW, and TIG.
  • NC /CNC machine coding experience.
  • AWS D1.1 welding certification.
  • Experience in painting, packaging and shipping products.
