  • Compensation Range: 23.82-26.28
  • Relocation package up to $7,500 (50% paid on approval, 50% paid on start date)

Ameri-Force is partnering with a large-scale company to staff several hundred roles to be based in Maine. These positions are permanent roles (not contract) and will require individuals to join a Union workforce.



  • This is an experienced position to work in the Tinsmith Trade
  • Applicants will be assigned any T04 trade function, including (but not limited to):
  • Fabrication of items made from sheet metal, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum such as hull outfit foundations, lockers, bunks, shelving, ventilation, guards, tables, counter tops, racks, etc, using fabrication sketches and drawings
  • Installing items on units or on ships including (but not limited to): shelving, ventilation, guards tables, racks and countertops, layout and install hull outfit foundations, curtain plate and deck shoe, joiner bulkheads etc., using blue prints
  • Fabricating and installing main engine and generator exhaust and intakes using fabrication sketches and drawings


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years in Technical or vocational training in tinsmith or carpentry trade (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or installation of steel and outfit items (required)
  • Must be able to read blueprints in detail (required)
  • Must be able to read a tape measure, and perform complex layout (required)
  • Must meet the requirements of the T04 physical task analysis (required)
